Liz Curtis Higgs holds a special place in my heart. Not only does she write butt-kicking non-fiction books that bring the Bible to life in our contemporary world, but she also writes beautiful fiction woven with Scottish history. Gotta love her.
Many of her novels are mentioned in my top ten favourite Scottish novels post, and I recently heard that her new novella is set in that beautiful land. A Wreath of Snow will be released on October 2, 2012.
Thinking of you and in a state of caffeine-induced excitement, I headed to Youtube and searched for a book trailer. Although it's basically a dictation of other snippets I've read in promotions for Higgs' new novella, the trailer has a classy black & white thing going on. And hey, it's Liz! You just KNOW the story is going to rock.
Tell me what you think...
So tell me readers, are you one of those people who seem to blossom in the Christmas season? Do you eagerly anticipate Christmas novels and movies every year? Or does the sight of holiday frivolity in the early autumn set your teeth on edge?
Loving Liz's Work at Any Time of the Year,
